  The cave has so many features throughout we kept finding and liking different feature they have done an amazing job and have thought of every thing my wife loved the sleeper shower in the master bedroom and the sink so quirky … My favourite was the marble wine holder in the lounge never seen anything like it , we also were touched by the fact that they have an honesty bar and you can help yourself to the wine and beers and so cheap !! Unlike a hotel mini bar .

  Although Mark & Shirley stay in the next cave we found this very helpful with their knowledge of the area but can honestly say you would never know they were there as not intrusive at all GREAT WEEKEND !!

  The location was just great exactly what we wanted we hired bikes from them and cycled around the area and went into the local village of Benamaurel and stopped off for some drinks & tapas so old worldly which we loved the relaxed way of life with the locals..

  We stayed at Cuevas Helena in June 2017 and the whole stay was amazing. CH is a wonderful retreat which offered a tranquil getaway one day and then another an exciting day quad biking up in hills. Shirley and Mark were the perfect hosts and their knowledge of restaurants and places to visit is incredible. The breakfast which they serve is absolutely out of this world. The night time pool experience is the perfect way to finish off the day at Cuevas Helena. We can't wait for our next visit.

  We walked into to the cave to be welcomed with the log burner on and a complementary bottle of Cava what a fab way to start our weekend !!

  Mark & Shirley were so helpful form the minute we arrived well Mark came to meet us so as we didn’t get lost although I’m sure our sat nav would have got us there are the co-ordinates where accurate.

  We stayed at Cuevas Helena for 2 nights and can honestly say we have never expected a cave to be like this, we didn’t know what to expect although the pictures looked great they actually don’t do it justice !!

  We will be back in the summer for sure to get into the amazing pool & look forward to bringing our friends with us next time as we can’t stop speaking about our first stay in a cave house !!!!
